Jesse has been practicing architecture for over three decades and active in the solar industry for two decades. He has worked for leading solar module manufacturers as well as major architectural design firms. Jesse combines a background of top design with building science, having received his undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rhode Island School of Design and his master’s degree in Building Science and Climate Responsive Architecture from Arizona State University. Jesse has published and presented his research on solar applications and building energy consumption in industry trade publications and at national conferences, such as GreenBuild and the ASES Solar Conferences. Jesse is also the CEO and Founding Member of Oculus Studio, an architectural design firm specializing in climate responsive architecture, building science, whole building energy analysis, energy audits, life cycle financial analysis, solar analysis and sustainability consulting.
